Recommended Application Rates


Corn Postemergence Application Rates

Spring wheat and barley:

Rate: Apply 6.4-9.6 fl. oz. of Five Star® per acre in spring, when grain has 1 or more tillers as well as 3 or more leaves.

Winter wheat, barley and rye:

Rate: Apply 6.4-12.8 fl. oz. of Five Star® per acre in the spring when grain has 1 or more tillers as well as 3 or more leaves. (Both spring and winter DO NOT apply from boot to dough stage)

Full Tiller Stage:

Rate: (3 or more tillers and flag leaf should not be visible) Apply 6.4-12.8 fl. oz of Five Star® is in full tiller (4-8 inches tall) DO NOT apply from boot to dough stage. Five Star® can be applied to corn, sorghum, pasture, range, and non-crop land for rates.

Application: Ground or air.

5-10 gallons/acre by ground 1-10 gallons/acre by air

Use coarse spray, flat fan tips and low volume flood nozzles.

Rainfastness: 2 hours before rainfall
