Recommended Application Rates


Apply 0.9 to 1.1 pints/A to peanuts 2 to 12 weeks after planting in states of AL, AR, FL, GA, LA, NC, SC, TN, and VA. Do not apply later than 45 days before harvest.

*late germinating Cocklebur and Morningglory apply a second application about 3/weeks after the first.

Ground application:
Apply a minimum of 10/gallons of water or more for uniform spray coverage. For optimum spray coverage use of flat fan nozzles, maximum size tip of 8008 with a minimum of 30 psi.

Aerial application:
Use orifice disc, cores and nozzles that will provide optimum spray coverage. Minimum of 5 GPA and maximum pressure of 40 psi.

  • Do not apply Butyrac® 175 through any type of irrigation systems.
  • Do not use in or near a greenhouse.
  • Do not feed treated vines or hay to livestock.
  • Do not apply to peanuts under stress form drought as injury may occur.
