Recommended Application Rates


Corn:

  • Apply 1 pint to corn after emergence but prior to tassel emergence.
  • Apply 1 ½ pints to corn between the 4 leaf stage prior to tassel emergence.
  • Apply 2 pints to corn only between 4 leaf-stage prior to tassel emergence, for susceptible weeds growing in less than optimal conditions

Spring Wheat, Barley, Oats, and Rye: use 1 - 2 pints/acre from emergence to the boot stage. Apply 1 pint/acre to most susceptible weeds. 1 ½ - 2 pints to susceptible weeds that do not exceed 4 leaf stage or 2 inches high.

Forage, fiber, and alfalfa (seedling): Apply 1 - 1 ½ pints/acre in spring or fall to seedling alfalfa when the majority of the field has a minimum of 4 trifoliates. (do not apply when temperatures are expected to exceed 80oF for 3 days following application).

Non-Cropland and Industrial: Apply 1-2 pints (or 3/8 to ¾ fl. oz./1000 sq. ft.) Optimal control when weeds are treated less than 4 leaf stage, or 2 inches high.

Application: Ground or air.

Ground: 10-20 gallons/acre, 30 - 50 PSI and a maximum ground speed of 10 MPH.

Aerial: 5 gallons/acre, 40 PSI maximum pressure.

Spray tips: for uniform ground coverage use flat fan nozzles (maximum tip size 8008) Sprinkler irrigation application-read and follow label directions.

Rainfastness: 1 hour before rain
